The Workplaces Bookkeeping Agent is internal software used only by Workplaces personnel to read our own QuickBooks Online company file. It is not offered to the public.
To disconnect it from a QuickBooks Online company:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to Settings → Apps (or Apps → My Apps).
- Find “Workplaces Bookkeeping” and choose Disconnect.
Disconnecting immediately revokes the authorization and stops all further access to the company file.
Records already read are retained for seven years, in line with Canada Revenue Agency record-keeping requirements for business records. See our privacy policy for details.
